Under the NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS), Certify is the largest creator of Energy Saving Certificates (ESC). We offer certificate creation for both commercial and residential lighting upgrades, NABERS ratings, compressed air efficiency projects and appliance sales.

In lighting upgrades, certificates are created according to the volume of energy savings made from switching lighting technologies, including LED lamps, sensors and timers. We work with:

  • Lighting retailers – to ensure reliable, fast cash flow;
  • Business and building owners – helping finance lighting upgrades; and
  • Electrical contractors – to ensure they meet all the scheme requirements.

We can provide an obligation-free quote for generating ESC certificates for your project. Simply contact us at info@certify.com.au call us on (02) 9279 4704, or fill out an enquiry here.

In air conditioning upgrades, Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs) and Peak Demand Reduction Certificates (PRCs) are generated based on the efficiency of the installed system, location, and customer type. We work with:

  • Air conditioning installers – ensuring compliance with scheme requirements;
  • Business and homeowners – helping reduce costs with financial incentives; and
  • Energy retailers – managing certificate trading for maximum returns.

We can provide an obligation-free quote for generating ESCs and PRCs for your project. Contact us at aircon@certify.com.au, call (02) 9279 4704, or submit an enquiry here.

Approximately 10% of the electricity consumed by Australian industry is used for compressed air. Many industrial businesses use compressed air to operate equipment such as hand tools, pumps, valve actuators, pistons and large-scale processes.

There is significant potential to save energy and improve the bottom line by reducing the demand on compressed air services, repairing leaks, optimising equipment and upgrading old systems. Typically, 20–50% energy savings are possible.

We collaborate with:

  • Air pump suppliers – to ensure seamless installation and performance;
  • Industrial businesses – to help finance pump upgrades;
  • Engineers and contractors – to meet all project requirements.

We offer a no-obligation quote for generating ESC certificates for your air pump project. Reach out to us at info@certify.com.au, call us on (02) 9279 4704, or complete an enquiry here.

Certify is accredited under the NSW Energy Savings Scheme’s Carbon Saver Program.

This initiative incentivizes customers to buy energy-efficient whitegoods and TVs. While retailers aren’t required to spend the funds in a specific way, they often offer upfront discounts on eligible appliances or invest in marketing efficient products.

Recent scheme changes designate retailers as Energy Savers, allowing them to assign Certify to generate ESCs on their behalf. These certificates represent the carbon savings of the appliances, with a portion of their value returned to retailers.

Smarter Choice, a government program, helps consumers choose more efficient whitegoods.

Certify has an accreditation under the NSW Energy Savings Scheme that is ideal to claim abatement for energy efficiency projects in NABERS rated office buildings, shopping centres, data centres and hotels. The accreditation allows Certify to create Energy Saving Certificates (ESCs) for improvements in NABERS ratings. The methodology is simple to use and can represent significant value for building owners and tenants.

Creating ESCs from NABERS rating improvements is worth approximately $0.50 per square metre of space per star rating improvement per annum.

Example
A 40,000 sqm building which improves its NABERS Rating by 1 star would be eligible for around $20,000 in ESC value per annum for every year they maintain that new rating.
