Customers installing new highly-efficient air conditioning systems in NSW are often eligible to create Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs) and/or Peak Demand Reduction Certificates (PRCs). The certificates can be sold to energy retailers and provides a financial incentive for customers to choose higher-efficiency models.

Understanding the Energy Savings Scheme
The NSW Energy Savings Scheme helps households and businesses install energy efficient equipment to save energy, help the environment and reduce peak demand on the electricity network. Certify has been one of the largest creators of ESCs and PRCs in our 18 year history, working across a range of industries to help grow the industry. In order to work with your company, Certify needs to ensure you are correctly trained, licenced and insured. Determining the evidence requirements of the ESS
The creation of ESCs and PRCs comes with a responsibility to ensure the project has been implemented correctly. The documentation to the right outlines the evidence requirements that are required for Certify to create certificates. Note also that Certify uses a range of other means to ensure full compliance with the ESS, including phone calls, site visits and product testing.
